Rubber Crumb Flooring Glasgow
Also known as ‘wet pour’, rubber crumb soft flooring is available in a wide range of attractive colours and blends and can be installed to almost any design. Wet pour requires a skilled team to install, and our team at Roadlay is fully trained and BBA approved for the specification, design, and installation of this product.
Rubber crumb is a low maintenance porous surface usually installed in a two-layer system. The top layer or ‘wearing course’ of wet pour is formed using EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Modified) recycled rubber crumbs that are bonded together with a polyurethane binder. The base layer is formed using bound SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) granules to produce the absorbing qualities of wet pour. This means that the soft play surface can be installed in a variety of depths, according to CFHs (Critical Fall Heights).
Despite being traditionally installed in sports grounds, playgrounds and nurseries, Roadlay also offers rubber crumb to the residential and private sector and is a great option for people with young children.
Rubber crumb makes a great surface option to install before office and business building doorways. Its bright and clean appearance, easy to maintain slip resistant and luxurious ‘soft underfoot feel, could make a very welcoming, attractive, safe, dry and environmentally friendly entrance.
Also, being available is a wide range of colours, entrances and paths can easily be customised to reflect the company, building or brand.
