Scope of work	Full groundworks and surfacing package of a new build Burger King outlet in Wishaw, and creation of new adoptable entrance road footpaths.

Roadlay were successful in the bid to undertake groundworks, civils and surfacing for the creation of a new Burger King store in Wishaw. Following design drawings and liaising with NLC council engineers, our works included:

Traffic management plans, and permits for Lane closure, set up of manned two-way lighting system and safe diversion of pedestrians
Site levelling and deep excavation
Plotting heights
Installation of drainage
Re-location of existing road gullies to accommodate the new access road design
Kerbing
Pedestrian barrier installation
Monoblock installation
Footpath construction
Road planning of the main carriageway to shape new access road
Installation of 6F2
Installation of Type 1 shaped to crossfalls, cambers and drainage gradients
Machine lay AC20 base course to council specification
