Roadlay Ltd were appointed by Falkirk Council, as part of their Road Network Improvements programme, to carry out the following works:
- Re-surface South Street (the main street) in Boness
- Traffic Management
- Bond coat hot-sprayed
- White Lining
- The Council specified an AC6 enriched wearing course
The Council required the work to be done as a matter of urgency and to be carried out on a Sunday to avoid traffic congestion, keep local shops open on Monday-Saturday and to ensure Health & Safety of the public.
Roadlay organised specific opening of the quarry to facilitate Sunday working together with organising and supervising the white lining sub-contractor to ensure that the work was completed to the high standards and completed by 4pm as specified by the Council.
